- Daily living equipment and technology (also called assistive technology) are items of equipment that can help you with your everyday tasks. They can support you to manage your own health and stay independent and safe in your own home.
The items don’t have to be expensive or technical. Things like jar openers, long-handled shoe horns and eye drop dispensers can be bought for less than £10. You can buy them from the local high street e.g. Argos, Wilko, pharmacies, pound shops and supermarkets, and also online.
