Oliver McGowan Training

Oliver’s Training is training that needs to be delivered by approved trainers. It must be delivered in line with the delivery model and the conditions of training.

Tier 1

Tier 1 of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is for people who require general awareness of the support autistic people or people with a learning disability may need.

Tier 2

Tier 2 of The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism is for people who may need to provide care and support for autistic people or people with a learning disability.

The Tier Guidance will help employers determine which Tier their staff will need.

This will be the link to use going forward, continuous dates for the training will be added to the booking system, Tier 2 (not specific for an organisation) will also be added in due course.

Tier 2 training is available through the following sign up link and is being delivered by the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Integrated care system.
