Job title: Early Communication Champion
Location: Various locations across Staffordshire
Key responsibilities
- Attend promotional and engagement events to represent Staffordshire County Council Early Outcomes Fund Project.
- To Share 5 key messages linked with the Early Outcomes Fund Project.
- Look after yourself so you can look after your baby / child
- Talk to your baby / child right from the start
- Reduce dummy and bottle use by the age of 1
- Limit TV and gadget use to give your children chance to communicate with you
- Seek help if you have concerns or are unsure
- Provide information, advice and guidance on local provisions across a local district including Family Hubs, Toddler groups, Libraries, Schools, Soft Play, Job Centre, Churches, Mosques, Community Centres, Shops, Leisure Centres etc.
- Form partnerships with local Health Centres, Dentists, GP Surgeries.
- Signpost families to relevant early years services.
- To promote Think 2 and the 30 hour fully funded childcare offer.
- Work in partnership with SCVYS, Support Staffordshire, family hubs and local councillors to ensure positive messages are delivered across the district.
