Provider
Building on the success of the Holiday, Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, we are now seeking to provide grants to organisations to deliver the 2024/25 Winter HAF Programme for eligible children and young people
We are seeking applications from providers who can deliver the:
- Full HAF - (four hours per day, for four days) this must include a range of enriching activities with a hot, nutritious, and healthy meal.
- HAF Light - (two hours per day, for two or more days)
- Family Activity Days - where children and their families are invited along to take part in activities, prepare a festive meal together and socialise. At these events, we expect that those attending should eat high quality, healthy food and take part in some fun activities. It could also involve day trips or other experiences, providing that this includes a healthy meal as well as an element of physical activity, for example, a walk. Alongside this, we would expect that children who attend the above face-to-face provision also receive support in the form of high-quality food hampers and activity packs.
Application forms have been designed to allow applicants the opportunity to bid for Full HAF, and HAF Light grants.
Delivery dates for the HAF programme are below, and applications are welcome from those providers who wish to include weekend delivery. Eligible children would be able to book and attend a maximum of four sessions during the holiday.
