The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 27/2024
1. Staffordshire County Council on 25/06/2024 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce no waiting at any time on Park Avenue, Stafford.
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Rising Brook Library, Merrey Road, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST17 9LX.
3. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court.
4. The Order will commence on 01/07/2024

The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 27/2024
The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on 1st July 2024 and may be cited as The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 27/2024.
2. The above Order amends the Plans marked AV195 incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 and in substitution thereof and adds Plans marked AW195 & AW196.

Statement of reasons
Vehicles are regularly park on Park Avenue near the junction with A449 Rising Brook. The parking is causing visibility issues and vehicles queuing on the A449 Rising Brook when entering/exiting Park Avenue, therefore causing safety concerns.
Schedule
On Park Avenue, starting on the northern side at the boundary between No1 Park Avenue and 201 A449 Rising Brook heading south ending at the Give way line with A449 Rising Brook.
