Make a difference video transcript

"My name is Tony and I volunteer at my local library.

The most enjoyable thing about volunteering is taking someone who has never used the internet or email and after just three lessons, seeing them to make use of these things.

Seeing an older person get the hang of programs like Skype, it just opens the world for them, its life changing.

All my training was done by volunteers at the IT centre in Newcastle, and so I thought I would give something back. Volunteers taught me, and now I am teaching other people."
