Alan White, Staffordshire County Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Health, Care and Wellbeing said:

“Our priority is to ensure those in need of care continue to receive this and we have been working closely with both the Care Quality Commission and the Four Seasons Health Care group to ensure this is the case.

“The company has confirmed that today’s news will not affect care arrangements or the operations of its homes in Staffordshire or across the country.

“While we understand this may be unsettling for residents and their families, we want to reassure them that their care will continue as it is and people do not need to take any further action.  We will continue to monitor the situation closely.”
