Applications for the 2022 Awards open this Saturday May 1, with the window to apply running until early September.
Applications are free and are made online. Full details are available at https://www.gov.uk/queens-awards-for-enterprise. This year, 205 UK businesses have been recognised.
Winners are recognised globally as an outstanding British brand and afforded the opportunity to increase sales and growth. They can fly The Queen’s Awards flag at their main office and use the QAE emblem on marketing material. An official certificate and commemorative crystal trophy are presented by Her Majesty The Queen’s Lord Lieutenant for Staffordshire Mr Ian Dudson CBE KStJ.
David Gage MBE DL, Staffordshire Deputy Lieutenant and Panel Champion for Business and Enterprise said:
Once again it has been shown that Staffordshire is a truly enterprising county. I offer warm congratulations to our winners who have every reason to be very proud of their achievements.
More than anything I encourage small businesses to apply and not to think that these awards are for larger organisations only.”
