People in Staffordshire are being urged to grab a jab at their nearest walk-in vaccine clinic this week.

First, second and booster doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are available at walk-in clinics across Staffordshire this week. No appointments are necessary, but please bring ID. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The walk-in vaccine clinics will be available at:

  • The Limes (Hollies site), Stafford, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14 August, 11am – 4pm, anyone aged 5 and over
  • Lichfield Fire Station, 10 August, 11.30am – 4.30pm, anyone aged 12 and over
  • Norton Canes Dental Practice, 10 and 13 August, 9am – 1pm, anyone aged 5 and over
  • Keele University Vaccination Bus, 11 August, 11.30am – 4.30pm, anyone aged 12 and over
  • Tamworth Vaccination Centre, 11 and 13 August, 10am – 1pm, anyone aged 12 and over

Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Support Member for Public Health and Integrated Care, Paul Northcott, said:

“Vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and others against Covid-19. These walk-in clinics across Staffordshire offer a great opportunity for people to get their vaccine if they haven’t already, and make sure they are protected particularly before schools go back in September.

I would encourage everyone who is still not fully vaccinated to make use of these walk-in clinics over the summer holiday. The virus has not gone away and we must continue to do everything we can to keep levels low and stop the spread.”
