Staffordshire’s history in creative production and exciting future plans in the sector will be celebrated at an event this month.
The Staffordshire Ambassador event will bring together speakers from the world-famous ceramics manufacturer Emma Bridgewater, pioneering sustainable packaging business Woolcool, community artist Making Trails and growing brewery and pub owner Titanic Brewery.
The free event will take place at the Stafford Gatehouse Theatre on Tuesday October 24 and will also hear from the Staffordshire Poet Laureate Dawn Jutton.
The event, hosted by place marketing organisation We Are Staffordshire, is held quarterly and brings together over 200 ambassadors across Staffordshire. Events feature inspirational speakers, updates on key developments, news and tours or experiences of unique places.
We Are Staffordshire aims to showcase the county and promote how much it has to offer to a wider audience.

Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for economy and skills Philip White said:
Staffordshire has a rich history of successful creative industries and food and drink production. This has evolved with ambitious plans now mapped out for future growth and job creation.
The Staffordshire Ambassador events give us an opportunity to celebrate our local business successes and find out more about their achievements.
This promises to be another day of invaluable learning and networking and so we’d urge people from all sectors from a range of organisations to attend, meet new people and maybe get involved with our ambassador programme.”
