Staffordshire’s reputation as a county growing in investment potential is set to be enhanced at a national three-day conference in 2024.
A delegation from the county council and its partners will be returning to promote Staffordshire at UKREiiF (UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum) in Leeds to over 10,000 attendees.
The event is in its third year and brings together local and regional public sector organisations with Government, investors, funders, developers, housebuilders and more. It takes place from Tuesday May 21 until Thursday May 23.
Staffordshire’s delegation includes the county council and all eight district and borough councils as ‘We Are Staffordshire’.
There will be a focus on positioning the county as a place to invest, town centre and high streets regeneration and the investment potential along the A50/A500 corridor with other major transport infrastructure improvements planned.

Keith Griffiths, chief executive officer and founder of UKREiiF, said:
We’re thrilled that Staffordshire are returning to UKREiiF for a third year in a row. Their continued support is a real testament of the success the council have taking part in the UKREiiF event, year after year. We’re looking forward to seeing the big plans they have in store for 2024.”
Staffordshire County Council’s deputy leader and cabinet member for economy and skills Philip White said:
This year’s UKREiiF event was a huge success as our delegation promoted a package of proposals worth around £1bn.
Once again we’ll be showcasing tremendous investment opportunities and everything that’s great about our county through the We Are Staffordshire brand.
In 2024 we’ll focus on town centre regeneration, future potential along the A50/A500 corridor and other planned transport improvement projects.
Our presence at UKREiiF is critical as it enables us to make a lasting impact on investors and decision makers. This ultimately results in new jobs and an improved quality of life for our communities.”
Main themes across the event include the UK’s net zero target, social value and inclusive growth, the future of real estate, building better communities and a focus on inward investment.
