Ever thought about serving your community as a local county councillor? Well now is your chance to find out more.

With Staffordshire County Council Elections due to be held on May 1, 2025, two open days are being held for people thinking about standing.

These take place on Monday November 4 and Tuesday November 26 at County Buildings in Stafford. People can choose from two sessions on the days at either 12 noon to 2pm or 6pm to 8pm.

The events will give people an insight to what the role involves, how the county council works and the support on offer should you choose to stand and are elected.
