Families across Staffordshire are being reminded that there are plenty of fun filled activities available this Easter holiday.

Egg hunts, nature trails and family walks heavily feature this Easter, along with thrilling theme park rides and amazing attractions for all ages.

Peak Wildlife Park in the Staffordshire Moorlands is inviting families to join them for a host of Easter activities, including Egg Hunts and Craft activities and to say hello to all their animals.

Families are also invited to the Trentham Estate, where they can join the Shaun the Sheep Find the Flock Trail, along with the Spring Bulb Festival.  People can also visit the Trentham Monkey Forest located around the corner and walk amongst 140 primates.

At Alton Towers, people can experience the all-new rides, Toxicator and The Curse of Alton Manor, or explore the more gentle gardens or the UK's only CBeebies Land.  Join Drayton Manor in their 75-year celebration where they are offering families Easter hunts, fireworks, balcony shows and street entertainment.

Charlotte Cain, Investment Agency Manager at Staffordshire County Council, said: "Easter is a wonderful time for families to come together and enjoy the many attractions Staffordshire has to offer.

“We’re the biggest and best playground in the country, with something for everyone to enjoy.  We’re incredibly proud of all our visitor attractions and hospitality businesses, who always do their best to provide a wonderful visitor experience.”

Over at Stafford Castle, families can take part in Easter craft Workshops or take a walk in the woodland trail and quiz.  And at Weston Park, people are invited to attend the largest car show in the country over the Easter weekend – the Easter Motor Show, featuring vintage and classic cars and the chance to explore the vast gardens.

The National Memorial Arboretum are offering outdoor trails, arts and crafts activities, sensory play areas, and leisurely family strolls.  While over at the National Forest Adventure Farm in Burton, children can hop on the Easter Eggspress Tractor & Trailer ride and journey to Bunny Woods to meet the Easter Bunny, along with other related activities.
