Staffordshire's swimming superstar Adam Peaty has won silver in the 100m breaststroke at the Olympic Games in Paris. Already the current Olympic and world record holder, the Staffordshire swimmer held his nerve to clinch joint silver in a time of 59.05, only beaten to the gold by 2 hundredths of a second.
