Incident Reporting

My Health and Safety launched on the 1 March 2018 to schools and academies who subscribe to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Service.

My Health and Safety allows you to report accidents, near misses, incidents of violence or aggression, road traffic accidents and environmental incidents directly to us via a web based system.

Benefits of My Health and Safety

  • Record incidents from any location at any time via log-on or remote reporting facility.

  • Automatically notifies key people and prompts a manager review.

  • A dedicated review facility to record and track local investigations and actions.

  • Stores all documents including photographs, witness statements and reports in one secure location.

  • Colleagues will be able to report incidents from anywhere with an internet connection.

  • Intelligent forms guide the collection of relevant facts and information.

  • Accessed via the web, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Instantaneous access to incident reports.

Accessing the system

School managers can access the system to record and review incidents by entering the school user name and password online.

The username and password has been sent to the email account you provided. You will need to change your password the first time you log-in. Any visitor to the website can access your data if they have your access details so please ensure that you consider carefully with whom you share this information.

If you wish, school staff can report incidents directly to the school and Health, Safety and Wellbeing Service.

Schools will automatically receive notification that a report has been made and can review and take appropriate action.
