Eligibility

To be eligible to take a level 2 course you must:

  • Be 19 years old or older
  • Live in England - Unfortunately you will not be eligible if you live in Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, Birmingham, Solihull and Coventry.

Answer:
The course can be started at any time and the college offers Distance Learning throughout the year.
Answer:
Most learners choose the online version of the course, however there is a paper based option if this is preferred.
Answer:
The course is self-guided study and there is no need to attend. We provide comprehensive written resources to support the learner and there is the opportunity to carry out additional research as well.

Courses take between four and sixteen weeks to complete, depending on the qualification chosen (although we are flexible in terms of sickness and holidays)
Answer:
We have a number of trained assessors that are subject specialists. Once work has been submitted electronically, or by post, assessors will mark the content and provide detailed feedback, with guidance on how to revisit questions if this is required.
Answer:
There is no chance of failing the course because we support learners until every answer meets criteria, no matter how many times questions are returned.
Answer:
We email across enrolment forms to be completed and then carry out a short telephone induction to explain how the course runs. Workbooks are posted out first class, so a person can be up and running within a day or two of signing up for the course. We provide a fourteen-day cooling off period to ensure that learners are happy to continue, once they have received their resources and looked at the assessment.
