We issue a range of licences, registrations and certificates. On the proceeding pages you can find information on all of these. Soon you will be able to use an electronic application system for submission and payment online to apply for the licences provided under the EU Services Directive.

Movement of farm animals

Placement of a scaffold and/or hoarding on the public highway

• £92 domestic property or £122 commercial property for the initial 28 day period or part thereof,
• then a further £30 for each extension of 28 days or part thereof.

Skip operators

Skip permit

• £26 for initial period of 28 days or part thereof,
• then a further £13 for each extension of 28 days or part thereof.   

Street works

• £265 standard cost
• £130 more for every 200m after the first 200m   

Occupation of road in connection with building work

• £26 for initial period of 28 days or part thereof,
• then a further £13 for each extension of 28 days or part thereof.  

Civil marriage and civil partnership premises approval

• £800 - (Category A - up to 2 rooms)
• £1000 - (Category B - more than 2 rooms)

You must be registered with the Local Authority if you wish to sell poisons.
