• Teachers are familiar with the Individual Healthcare plans of the children they teach and know what to do if there is a concern.
  
  
• Teachers have adapted the classroom so that the physical layout and sensory environment is not a barrier to learning.

• Techers give the children in their class(es) enough time to respond.
  
  
• Teachers can modify their responses to individual children on the basis of need.
