Learner feedback
We welcome learner feedback, and use it to help improve our service, as well as to recognise good practice. We have a number of ways of collecting information about the learners’ experience of their course.
Focus groups
An opportunity for learners to get together as a group and discuss their experience, usually with a specific theme.
Feedback questionnaires
At the end of the course, learners are asked to complete a quick survey to tell us if they enjoyed the course, and what they gained from it.

Success Stories
We'd love to hear more about your learning journey. If you want to share your achievements please tag us on your social media posts. Ask your tutor about how to share your success story with us. Or check out our Learner Voice webpage and leave us a message!
Progression Survey by telephone
We may telephone learners after the end of the course to find out what they have done since they left us. This is a really useful indication of whether learners have achieved their long-term goals.
We look at all this information together, to find out if the experience matches learners’ expectations. We look for examples of good practice that can be adopted in other courses, to make sure you have the best possible learning experience. If there are any concerns, we follow these up with the provider to put it right.
Learners can also contact Amanda Darlington, Head of Adult Learning & Skills, or the County Council at any time, to make a comment, compliment or complaint.
