Park Run

Staffordshire Virtual School have teamed up with Stoke Virtual School and would like to encourage our young people, their guardians, and our team members to join their local 'park runs' . This is the first of many. If you can't make this one, but are participating in another, please let us know, we would love to hear how you get on.   This is open to Staffordshire & Stoke Children in Care, previously looked after and Children with a Social Worker. Also, to those who have a different Local Authority, but live in Staffs or Stoke.

School of Rock Musical

Come along and learn from Jake Sharp how to sing, dance, act and have fun!! Jake played the main role of Dewey Finn in the West End and UK tour. An energetic 2-hour workshop to throw you into the world of theatre and experience what being in a West End show is really like! Q&A with West End star included!! 10 places available so please book early to avoid disappointment. This is open to Staffordshire Children in Care aged 11- 16yrs old.

Staffordshire Virtual School are teamed together with Together Active to provide a sporting education program to help boost confidence, raise self-esteem and support young people in realising their potential. May include activities such as Archery, Bushcraft and much more! Also, to those who have a different Local Authority, but live in Staffs or Stoke.

Music workshop Staffordshire Virtual School are teamed together with Entrust Music Service to provide Music opportunities to help boost confidence, raise self-esteem and support young people in realising their potential. There will be demonstrations followed by “try it yourself” with various instruments. For our older students a chance to look at music  tech, hopefully looking at recording studios and much more!

You may even win to have your design printed!

This 12-week programme provides our children with an introduction to dance, of different genres. Meeting weekly to creatively express themselves through dance. The group environment enables them to develop friendships, find a sense of belonging and be amongst professionals who understand and can offer emotional support. Workshop delivered by ROOTS which is an artist from Birmingham. A recycle and re-use workshop, using old and new items. All materials will be provided and can be taken home by the YP once they have created a piece. YP can also bring in old items that they want to use. Booking Form
