This is the first of many. If you can't make this one, but are participating in another, please let us know, we would love to hear how you get on.		This is open to Staffordshire & Stoke Children in Care, previously looked after and Children with a Social Worker. Also, to those who have a different Local Authority, but live in Staffs or Stoke.
Saturday 14 September 20243-5pm	School of Rock Musical Wildwood, Stafford	Come along and learn from Jake Sharp how to sing, dance, act and have fun!! Jake played the main role of Dewey Finn in the West End and UK tour. An energetic 2-hour workshop to throw you into the world of theatre and experience what being in a West End show is really like! Q&A with West End star included!!	10 places available so please book early to avoid disappointment.	This is open to Staffordshire Children in Care aged 11- 16yrs old.
Wed 2 Octoberober 20244:30-6pm	Care to Dance Co-creation group Discovery Hub, Lichfield.	We are joining together with ' Care to Dance' to offer a programme of dance starting January 2025. Does this sound like something you would like to be involved in? Can you join us to share your vision in co-creating the program over the next couple of months? Saturday 6 Octoberober 202410am-3pm	A festival of sport activities. Trentham Gardens	Staffordshire Virtual School are teamed together with Together Active to provide a sporting education program to help boost confidence, raise self-esteem and support young people in realising their potential. May include activities such as Archery, Bushcraft and much more!	Outdoor Adventure Fest Booking Form (office.com)	This is open to Staffordshire & Stoke families with Children in Care, previously looked after and Children with a Social Worker. Also, to those who have a different Local Authority, but live in Staffs or Stoke.
October 19 2024 or 9 November 2024	Music workshop	Staffordshire Virtual School are teamed together with Entrust Music Service to provide Music opportunities to help boost confidence, raise self-esteem and support young people in realising their potential. There will be demonstrations followed by “try it yourself” with various instruments. For our older students a chance to look at music tech, hopefully looking at recording studios and much more! Saturday 16 November 2024 Stoke	Emma Bridgewater Plate Decorating pottery session	Come join us for a creative day to decorate a plate. Very popular last year. Venue – Emma Bridgewater Factory, Stoke-on-Trent: Free parking on site available. Location can be found by typing “ST1 3EJ Pelham Street” into your Satnav. Saturday 30 November 2024 10:30am-12:30	Christmas Card making! John O'Leary Education Centre, Maquis Drive, Cannock	Come and join Staffordshire Virtual School for a fun and festive day creating and designing as little or as many Christmas Cards as you like! You may even win to have your design printed! Festive refreshments will be available on the day	If you are unable to attend this day, you can create your designs at home and email us a photo, or you can create something digitally! Please send all finished artwork to Mary.gardner@staffordshire.gov.uk by 13 December 2024	This is open to Staffordshire Children in Care, previously looked after and children with a social worker, aged 4 years old up to 13 years old
Saturday 7 December 2024	Staffs FC Xmas Fun	Christmas celebrations at their annual event	Booking with Staffs FC	All Children in Care to Staffordshire Foster Carers to celebrate at their annual event
January - April 2025	Care2Dance Stafford area	This 12-week programme provides our children with an introduction to dance, of different genres. Meeting weekly to creatively express themselves through dance. The group environment enables them to develop friendships, find a sense of belonging and be amongst professionals who understand and can offer emotional support. If the young people wish- there will be a chance of a performance at the end of the 12 weeks. Saturday 25 January 2025	Give it a go - sports experience day	Staffordshire Virtual School are teamed together with Together Active to provide a sporting education program to help boost confidence, raise self-esteem and support young people in realising their potential. Event to be held indoors with various sports for all to try, as well as local sport clubs and communities sharing what they have to offer for those who wish to take a new sport up regularly. 17 February 2025 2pm-4pm	Re-use & Recycle Arts workshop. Venue tbc	Workshop delivered by ROOTS which is an artist from Birmingham. A recycle and re-use workshop, using old and new items. All materials will be provided and can be taken home by the YP once they have created a piece. YP can also bring in old items that they want to use.
