Better Health Staffordshire

BETTER HEALTH STAFFS LOGO

Better Health Staffordshire is the branding for a Whole Systems Approach to tackle the causes of excess weight and create a healthy weight environment, whilst promoting active lifestyles and healthy eating.

It is underpinned by guidance developed by Public Health England (since replaced by UK Health Security Agency and Office for Health Improvement and Disparities).

It was launched in 2020 by Staffordshire County Council and partners and aligns with the national Better Health Campaign.

Further information:

To understand what the approach involves please watch this helpful short video Whole systems approach to obesity (YouTube.com)
