Previous projects
Over the past ten to fifteen years or so we have run a variety of externally funded projects which have resulted in online resources for local, national and family historians. Although these projects are now complete, the online resources are still available for you to use. So here is some background and links to the resources.
Staffordshire Medical Officer of Health Project (2016)
This project made the correspondence for Staffordshire’s County and District Medical Officers of Health accessible for the first time and delved into the topics of health and welfare in early 20th century Staffordshire. It was funded by the Wellcome Trust.

Sutherland Papers Project (2006-2008)
With the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund and a wide range of other donors and volunteers, the Archive Service purchased the Sutherland Papers and built a website showcasing the papers and the wide range of information that they contain. An index to some types of records was also created by volunteers.
