Draft Notice and Order

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The Staffordshire County Council (Cannock Chase) (Civil Enforcement of Parking) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Conversion) Order 2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx

1. Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to extend the current Limited Waiting 40 minutes, no return within 4 hours between the hours of 8am and 6pm on Monday to Saturday inclusive by a distance of 6 metres in a south easterly direction on Mill Street, Cannock.

2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Cannock Library, Manor Avenue, Cannock, Staffordshire. 

3. Objections should be sent in writing to: Highway Maintenance and Network Management, Third Floor, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk not later than 03 January 2024 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR28/23 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

The Staffordshire County Council (Cannock Chase) (Civil Enforcement of Parking) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Conversion) Order 2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx

The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on xx xxxx 20xx and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Cannock Chase) (Civil Enforcement of Parking) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Conversion) Order 2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx

2. (existing and new plans)The above Order amends the Plans marked xxxx, xxxx, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the (copy from above minus (Amendment) No. x/20xx) and in substitution thereof and adds Plans marked xxxx. xxxx.

2. (existing plans) The above Order amends the Plans marked xxxx, xxxx, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the (copy from above minus (Amendment) No. x/20xx) and in substitution thereof.

2. (new plans only) The above Order amends the Plans which form part of the (copy from above minus (Amendment) No. x/20xx) by the addition of the Plan marked xxxx incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the following schedule.
