Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Staffordshire County Council (Lichfield) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order No 1/2009 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
1. Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce the following parking restrictions at the following locations:
- No Waiting at Any Time on Oak Way, Yoxall Way, Daffodil Drive, Sunflower Street, Hedgegrow Road, Butterfly Lane, Parkes Drive, Perry Avenue, Berwick Avenue, Lister Avenue, Hamstall Close and Thompson Way in Lichfield.
- No Waiting at Any Time, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am-09:30am and 2:30pm-4pm, on Yoxall Way, Lichfield;
- No Stopping on entrance markings, Monday to Friday between hours of 8am and 5pm.
- No Stopping except buses, on Yoxall Way, Lichfield.
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Lichfield Library, The Guild of St Mary's Centre, Market Square, Lichfield, Staffordshire
3. Objections or representations should be sent in writing to: Highway Maintenance and Network Management, Third Floor, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk not later than 16th May 2024 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR37/23 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

Statement of Reasons:
This traffic regulation order is needed to stop unsafe parking during school drop off and pick up hours to make it safer for the children and to allow for traffic to pass though Yoxall Way.
