ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
The Staffordshire County Council (Newcastle-under-Lyme) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 3 (Amendment) No. 83/2024
The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on 12 July 2024 and may be cited as The Staffordshire County Council (Newcastle-under-Lyme)(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Load and Parking Places) Order No 3 (Amendment) No. 83/2024
2. The above Order amends the Plans marked AI 88 incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of The Staffordshire County Council (Newcastle-under-Lyme)(Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Load and Parking Places) Order No 3 (Amendment) No. 83/2024
and in substitution thereof.

No Waiting At Any Time - Wellington Street, Newcastle Under Lyme & B5368 Silverdale Road, Newcastle Under Lyme
The Staffordshire County Council (Newcastle-under-Lyme) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 3 (Amendment) No. 83/2024
Staffordshire County Council on 11/07/2024 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend parking restrictions on B5368 Silverdale Rd and Wellington St, Newcastle Under Lyme. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Newcastle Library, Barracks Road, ST5 1BL or at: www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court. The Order will commence on 12 July 2024.
