The Staffordshire County Council (Newcastle-under-Lyme) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 3 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
1. Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce and amend parking on Church Street, Silverdale.
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Silverdale Library or at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/trafficregulationorders
3. Objections or representations should be sent in writing to: Highway Maintenance and Network Management, Third Floor, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk
not later than 14th March 2024 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR44/23 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

Statement of Reason
In order to promote the safety of highway users and to promote the free flow of vehicles on the highway along B5044 Church Street.

Proposed revocation of the existing prohibition of waiting Mon-Sat 8am – 6pm on the south side of B5044 Church Street for an approximate distance of 85m measured in a westerly direction from the western kerb radius to the junction of The Parade with Church Street
Proposed introduction of a prohibition of waiting at any time along the south side of B5044 Church Street for an approximate distance of 26m in a westerly direction measured from the western kerb radius to the junction of The Parade with Church Street.
