Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 26/2024

1. Staffordshire County Council on 16/01/2024 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to the following:

No Waiting at Any Time on A34 Stone Road, Bramall Lane, A5288 Pans Road, Greyfriars Place, Greyfriars Service Road, and A34 Foregate Street, Stafford.

Limited Waiting, 2 Hours with No Return within 1 Hour on Greyfriars Service Road, Stafford.

2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Holmcroft Library, Holmcroft Road, Stafford, Staffordshire.

3. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court.

4. The Order will commence on 22/01/2024

The Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 26/2024

The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on 22 01 2024 and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018 (Amendment) No. 26/2024

2. The above Order amends the Plans marked AV 186 & AU 182 incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Stafford) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2018and in substitution thereof and adds the Plan marked AV 182.
