eMagazines and eComics

We have lots of eMagazines and eComics available to download for free! You will just need to join a library and have a library card to do this.

For any help and support please use the help pages on the Libby website.

In the Libby app, follow the prompts and select ‘Staffordshire County Council’ as your library and sign in with your library ID and PIN. If your membership has expired please re-join online and a membership number and PIN will be emailed to you.

Once you have signed in, you can then start to borrow eMagazines or eComics by browsing the catalogue and borrow a title.

Borrowed titles appear under Shelf > Loans and download to the app automatically when you're connected to Wi-Fi, so you can read them when you're offline.

From your Loans, you can:

  • Tap Open Audiobook or Open Magazine to start reading or listening to that title.
  • Tap Manage Loan to see options like Renew and Return.

Using a computer browser

Once your library's eMagazines and eComics move to Libby, if you aren't able to use the Libby app, you can use the Libby website or the OverDrive website instead.

Please note: the content that we provide is available to any Staffordshire Library user.  It is the responsibility of parents/carers to ensure that any content downloaded for use by children is appropriate for the age of their child.
