Staffordshire History Festival

In September and October each year the Staffordshire History Festival takes place across Staffordshire Libraries and Arts, Archives and Museums. It's a two-month celebration of our local history and cultural heritage in Staffordshire. We offer a range of events, activities, exhibitions and other opportunities to engage with our past.

The Staffordshire Tolkien Trail

The Staffordshire Tolkien Trail is a series of three linked walks that cover over 30 miles of the Staffordshire countryside on and around Cannock Chase. The walks focus on Staffordshire’s J.R.R. Tolkien connection, but also offer lots of other local history interest, great Staffordshire views and are a fantastic way to stay healthy and enjoy Staffordshire’s cultural and rural environment.
