Assistive Technology and Digital Skills Training

This training video is available to everybody in Staffordshire, particularly voluntary sector organisations, adult social care staff and wider partners.

Please note: An updated version of the 'Assistive Technology' section of this training has been recorded. Please see the 'Introduction to Daily Living Equipment and Technology' Training, to view this version. You can still view the 'Digital Skills' section by watching the second part of the 'Assistive Technology and Digital Skills' Training video (which starts at 29 minutes 30 seconds).

This session will cover:

  • Daily living equipment and technology (see note above).
  • Digital skills (starts at 29 minutes 30 seconds). This session covers:
    • Getting someone online.
    • What to do online.
    • Video calling.
    • Staying safe online.
    • Useful resources.
