If you know the date of the event and the area in which the event occurred, then an application for the certificate can be made to us.

The easiest way is to order online using our secure online ordering system.

Increasingly, a number of people are looking to use an approved premise as the setting for their wedding, civil partnership or ceremony.

Marriages and civil partnerships must take place in readily identifiable premises. This means that marriages and Civil partnerships cannot be held in the open air, in a tent, marquee or other temporary structure and in most forms of transport.

Please note: if the venue you are getting married at is not on the list above, check that it is an approved licensed venue or if it is out of the Staffordshire County Council area.
