Biodiversity planning advice service

From 2018 we will be offering a new service to support developers to meet planning requirements for biodiversity. 

This service is already available for our planning applications. See our pre-application advice web page for more details.

From 1 April 2018 the scheme supports applications to district and borough councils. 

The service will include initial pre-application planning advice for developments in their early stages. This will advise on the scope and extent of surveys and assessments of habitats and species required to meet policy and legislative requirements. 

We will also offer a biodiversity appraisal service to ensure your surveys and mitigation plan will meet planning requirements.
