Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
1 Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Ventura Park Road, Meadow Road and Bonehill Road in Tamworth.
2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH and during opening hours at Tamworth Library, Corporation Street, Tamworth
3. Objections or representations should be sent in writing to: Highway Maintenance and Network Management, Third Floor, Staffordshire Place 1, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH or to: trafficregulationorderobjections@staffordshire.gov.uk
not later than 5 September 2024 quoting reference HoCPS/TM/TR17/24 and stating the grounds on which they are made.

The Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on xx xxxx 20xx and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. x/20xx
2. The above Order amends the Plans marked CZ 267 and CZ 268, incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the Schedule to this Order and which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1and in substitution thereof and adds Plans marked CY 267 and CY 268.

Statement of Reasons
The proposal for no waiting at any time at on Ventura Park Road and Meadow Road aims to prevent the inconsiderate parking of vehicles that obstruct the highway and is designed to declutter the road space to provide a safer environment for all road users.
