Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 

The Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. 44/2024

1. Staffordshire County Council on 16 April 2024 made a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to Forties and Brent in Tamworth.

2. Documents may be examined during office hours at 1 Staffordshire Place, Tipping Street, Stafford, ST16 2DH, and during opening hours at Tamworth Library, 56A Albert Road, Tamworth, B79 7JN.

3. Persons questioning the validity or provisions of the Order on the grounds that such powers are not conferred by the Act, or that any requirement or instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date the Order was made apply to the High Court.

4. The Order will commence on 19 April 2024

The Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. 44/2024

The Staffordshire County Council in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act of 1984") as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004 ("the 2004 Act") as amended and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 hereby makes the following Order:-

1. This Amendment Order shall come into operation on 19 April 2024 and may be cited as the Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1 (Amendment) No. 44/2024

2. The above Order amends the Plans which form part of the Staffordshire County Council (Tamworth) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) Order No 1by the addition of the Plan marked DD277, DE277 and DE 278 incorporating waiting restrictions at locations specified in the following schedule
