Cannock scheme
We asked for your views on the following improvements; of which the level of support of strongly to somewhat agree was:
- 68% - Cycle route along Lichfield Road between Mill Green and Hollies Avenue
- 73% - New walking / cycling crossing on Lichfield Road
- 68% - Two direction cycle lane bypassing ringroad connecting to Hednesford Road
- 57% - Shared foot / cycle way on one side of Hednesford Road
- 61% - More green time for cyclists at Asda Devon Road
- 72% - Wider footways / crossing points at Old Hednesford Road / Hednesford Road
- 83% - Resurface footways and make as wide as possible
- 77% - Provide secure cycle storage in the town centre and nature reserve
Having received your support, we are happy to report that we will be taking all of the above improvements forward into the next phase of delivery – detail design.
