For the current financial year, the members of Staffordshire County Council approved an increase of 4.99% at their meeting on 8 February 2024. This is made up of 2% for the adult social care precept and 2.99% for the general precept.
The percentage increase is calculated on the total Band D rate for 2023/24, which was £1,471.23. The table below sets out the split between the ASC part of the council tax and the ‘general’ part. This table shows the increase more clearly than the regulated format of the bills.
