Staffordshire County Council's Strategic Plan (2022-2026)

This page outlines our strategic plan for 2022-26.

Mental Health Strategy

Having good mental health is important for everyone, and we need to build strong and resilient communities and individuals who are in control of their own mental well-being.  This new joint strategy with the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Integrated Care Board, has been produced with local communities, mental health professionals, partners and those who use the service and their carers, aims to help everyone improve and maintain their mental well-being, and help people of all ages with severe long-term mental health issues to live productive and fulfilling lives.

Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire Integrated Care Board: All Together for Carers - A Carers Strategy for Staffordshire 2019 - 2023

Every day, thousands of people in Staffordshire support an ill, frail or disabled family member, friend or partner. For most carers the experience of looking after someone close is rewarding, and many carers manage with help from their friends and communities. Some might need some extra help and turn to Staffordshire County Council or the NHS for advice and support. The aim of this strategy is to allow us to build on our continuing efforts to ensure carers can lead happier, healthier and more independent lives, whilst continuing to care for their loved ones.
