Recent and upcoming changes to bus services
Changes to bus services are listed by month, with additional pages for Christmas, New Year and Easter.
Bus services are liable to change at short notice, and any changes will be added throughout the month.
Revised timetables for changes
Revised timetables should be available on Traveline and on our bus map and timetable pages two weeks before the amendment date, or you can email publictransport@staffordshire.gov.uk for a timetable.

- First Potteries Saturday service 40 (Wedgwood - Hanley) will be renumbered as 40A, the timetable will be unchanged.
From 14 April
- D&G Bus service 8A (Endon - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
From 26 April
- Arriva Midlands service 2 (Ventura Park - Gilway) will have a revised route and timetable. The Sunday service will operate between Tamworth town centre and Gilway only.
- Arriva Midlands service 9 (Bridgnorth - Wolverhampton) will have a revised timetable.
- Arriva Midlands service 110 (Tamworth - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Birmingham.
- Arriva Midlands timetables 765 (Tamworth - Lichfield) will have a revised timetable.
- Arriva Midlands timetables X65 (Tamworth - Lichfield) will have a revised route and timetable and will serve St John’s estate in Lichfield.
From 27 April
- First Potteries service 6A (Blythe Bridge - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 11 (Newcastle - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- New service 11X will be operated by First Potteries, Monday to Friday, between Newcastle, Longton and Hanley.
- First Potteries service 18 (Leek - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 25 (Keele University - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries services 38 / 39 / 38A / 39A (Kidsgrove - Newcastle) will have a revised timetable.
- South Derbyshire Coaches service 81 (Edingale - John Taylor School) will be replaced by service 11 with a revised route and timetable. This service is available to school children only and no longer open to the general public.
- South Derbyshire Coaches services 82 / 84 (Tamworth - Clifton Campville) will have a revised timetable.
- First Potteries service 103 (Crewe - Hanley) will have a revised timetable.
- National Express WM service X51 (Cannock - Birmingham) will have a revised timetable and a revised route around Cannock Orbital Centre.
From 28 April
- New Select Bus service 6 will operate a Monday to Saturday circular route between Stafford, Rickerscote, St Peter’s Gardens and Moss Pit.
- Select Bus service 7(Stafford - Moss Pit) will be cancelled. Moss Pit, John Emery Drive will be served by the revised service 876.
- Select Bus service 8 / 8A (Stafford - Parkside) will have a revised half hourly timetable.
- Select Bus service 9 (Stafford - Highfields) will have a revised timetable.
- Select Bus service 12 (Stafford - Doxey) will have a revised timetable and some journeys will divert to serve Burleyfields.
- Select Bus service 23 (Cannock - Hednesford) will have a revised timetable. 23A journeys will be cancelled.
- New Aimee’s Travel service 29 will operate Monday to Friday between Leek, Ipstones, Foxt, Whiston and Cheadle.
- New Aimee’s Travel service 30A will operate Monday to Friday between Leek, Ipstones, Froghall and Cheadle.
- Select Bus service 67 (Cannock - Wolverhampton) will have a revised timetable.
- Select Bus service 875 (Stafford - Cannock) will have a revised timetable and a revised route in Stafford. Rickerscote will be served by the new service 6.
- Select Bus service 876 (Stafford - Wolverhampton) will have a revised timetable and route around Stafford. Moss Pit will be served, to replace the cancelled service 7, and St Peter’s Gardens will be served by the new service 6.
- Select Bus service 878 (Stafford - Coven) will have a revised outward route and timetable.

- Chaserider service 432 (Stafford - Eccleshall) will have minor revisions with the 1520/1530 journey now serving Woodseaves on the return form Eccleshall.
from 21 March
- National Express WM service 25 (Wolverhampton - Pendeford) will have a revised route due to roadworks in Willenhall.
from 28 March
- D&G Bus service 32A (Stoke - Alton Towers) will have a revised timetable with additional seasonal journeys.
- D&G Bus seasonal service X41 will commence between Stafford, Uttoxeter and Alton Towers.
from 30 March
- Diamond Bus service 125 (Stourbridge - Bridgnorth) will be cancelled.
- Diamond Bus service NMA1 (Tamworth - National Memorial Arboretum) will have a revised timetable with additional seasonal journeys.

- Diamond Bus services 10 / 10S (Burton - Acorn Inn) will have a revised timetable.

- New First Potteries service 9 will operate evenings and Sundays between Newcastle, Hanley and Fegg Hayes.
- First Potteries service 36 / 36A (Kidsgrove - Meir) will have a revised timetable with an additional Sunday timetable.
- First Potteries service 38 / 38A / 39 / 39A (Kidsgrove - Hanley - Newcastle) will have a revised timetable.
- New First Potteries service 40 will operate a Saturday service between Hanley, Longton and Wedgewood.

- New First Potteries service 501 will operate a limited stop, Monday to Saturday, service between Stoke, Hanley and W

- Chaserider service 70A (Featherstone - Cheslyn Hay) will have slight timing changes on the morning journey.
- Chaserider service 74 (Stafford - Cannock) will revert to the original route with a revised timetable.
- Chaserider service 826 (Stafford - Rugeley) will revert to the original route through Stafford. Some journeys will also divert to serve Etching Hill in Rugeley.
