We’re on a mission to get as many sites as possible in Staffordshire to become an anti-idling zone and join us for a county wide engine switch off!
Poor air quality can seriously aggravate conditions like asthma and it’s responsible for hundreds of deaths a year across Staffordshire.
You can help make a change! Joining in with our campaign to become an anti-idling zone you are cutting down on the amount of pollution produced into the atmosphere resulting in cleaner air to breathe.
Choosing to switch off your engine could be when:
- Charging your phone
- Waiting for someone
- On your lunch break
- Making a delivery
- Running the heater
- Running the Aircon
How to get involved
Simply sign up using the form below to become an anti-idling zone. Once signed up we will send you your very own anti-idling pack to help encourage your staff and visitors to switch off their engines.
All kits will include:
- Banner for your carpark
- Signs for lampposts
- Staffroom posters
- Email template to send to staff
Once you’re signed up don’t forget to share on social media a picture of your banner outside your workplace with the hashtag #StaffsEngineSwitchOff.
