Answer:

Yes, you can pay as many bills as you want on the internet service.

On the Automated Telephone Service, if you wish to pay more than one item, for example 2 separate Invoices/Bills please follow these steps: Complete the payment process for the first payment and then start again from the beginning for any further payments. This means you will put in your payments details for each payment you make.

We hope to improve the system in the future to make it easier to pay multiple bills.

Answer:

Staffordshire County Council is committed to protecting your privacy online. We have taken the following measures to help protect your information.

We use a digital certificate

A digital certificate is similar to an electronic passport. A digital certificate has been issued to Staffordshire County Council to prove we are who we say we are and so that you know you can trust us with sensitive information.

We send your information in coded format

Our secure server software encrypts all your personal information. Encryption means taking original information, for example, converting your payment card number into coded data so that it is unrecognisable as it travels across the internet.

When you enter the secure area of our web site you will see a padlock icon appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer monitor. You can click on the padlock to be sure that it is Staffordshire County Council you are trusting.

We do not store your payment card details

Once your payment has been processed your card details will not be stored. There is no risk that someone will fraudulently obtain them.

Your information will only be used for payments

The Data Protection Act 1998 ensures the protection and care of personal information. This means that information you give us electronically will only be used for the purpose you intended.

Answer:

Cards are not refused by Staffordshire County Council, they are refused by your bank.

There are many reasons why this may happen, but please contact your bank directly and they will be able to tell you why you couldn't use your Card.

Should you find that a 3DSecure transaction is rejected, please contact your card issuing bank.

Answer:
